Origins

Our partners come from leading executive search firms, consultancies and industry. Together we work as a close-knit team of executive search and career consultants, management assessment specialists, management consultants and restructuring specialists.
Partners’ backgrounds span AI, architecture, construction, consumer goods, energy, finance and financial services, health care and life sciences, human resources, law, management consulting, media, operations, the public sector and sport.

The current website states that the firm has completed more than 1,500 assignments and that over 60% are cross-border.

Mission Excellence provides consultancy and training focusing on operational excellence, including risk and safety management.
33 St. James’s works closely with Mission Excellence in delivering leadership, team development and operational change programmes.
The Mission Excellence team frequently delivers keynote speeches and team development seminars at international forums, and works with organisations across Europe, the Middle and Far East, and Africa.
Justin Hughes
Founder and Managing Director, Mission Excellence
Justin’s career began in aviation. He joined the RAF aged 23, flew the Tornado F3 and served for three years with the Red Arrows. He holds an MBA with Distinction from London Business School and a BSc (Hons) in physics from the University of Bristol. He joined the Advisory Board of 33 St. James’s in 2013.
Mission Excellence is an independent affiliate of 33 St. James’s.
