Christopher de Mattos

Christopher de Mattos is a non-executive director of London-based investment manager RAB Capital. He was a member of the team that founded the Company in 1999 and took it through a listing on AIM in 2004. Prior to joining RAB, he worked as an engineering officer in the Army before moving to the City as an equity analyst and then heading research and investment banking teams in Europe and Latin America.

He is a Chartered Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Imperial College, London. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, is an INSEAD Certified Director (IDP-C) and past Chair of the INSEAD Directors’ Network.

He is a trustee and treasurer of the Lord Kitchener National Memorial Fund and a member of the jury for the Global Prize for Ethics and Trust in Finance.

Christopher joined the Advisory Board of 33 St. James’s in 2016 and was invited to become Chairman in 2023.
